Rosso Veronese IGT



Denominazione: Rosso Veronese IGT

Libero is a Rosso Veronese IGT, intense ruby red color with aromas of small red fruits typical of Cabernet Sauvignon, softened by the cherry notes characteristic of Corvina grapes. On the palate the noble tannins of Nebbiolo and Sangiovese stand out, more delicate than those perceived by aging in oak wood. A more “international” wine which, however, thanks to the important presence of Corvina in the blend, remains linked to Valpolicella.

Grapes: Corvina with dryng for about 90 days in boxes, 50% other nonnative grapes of our production

Type of soil: Calcareous - Silt - Clayey

Altitude: 204 m a.s.l.

Winemaking and aging process: Fermentation with selected yeasts at a controlled temperature (24 ° C.) takes place in a horizontal vinifier for about 10 days, followed by malolactic fermentation to lower the total acidity of the wine. The aging of the wine takes place in second and third passage barriques for about 18 months and 24 months in bottle.

Alcohol content: 15,5% vol.

Pairings: Grilled beef, game or roast dishes, medium and long-aged cheeses.

Recommended serving temperature: 16/18 °C

Bottles produced per year: about 4.000
